Opticology, Inc. specializes in processing exotic material and optical crystals and we polish all optical glasses to the most stringent specifications. We routinely polish Lithium Niobate (LiNbO3), Yttrium Vanadate (YVO4), Strontium Barium Niobate (SBN), Postassium Niobate (KNbO3), Calcite (CaCO4), Fluorides (MgF2, CaF2, etc.), as well as a host of other compounds.  We also regularly polish customer supplied material.

Opticology is known for being able to generate and maintain unusual geometries while obtaining ultra-precision surface quality.  Our work ranges from conventional size optical components down to micro-sized precision components. As an added benefit, Opticology, Inc. maintains an engineering staff that can provide design assistance, tolerance analysis, and advise on specifications at no extra cost.  This engineering staff is available for design and system modeling if needed.
